Happy new year to all friends of the lemon house!
I’ve finally got some space this month to focus on blogging many of the weddings I’ve been privileged to photograph during 2014.
Looking forward to working with lots more lovely couples during 2015 for what is set to be another fantastic year.
Starting off with the amazing wedding of Paul and Pip. I first met Paul and Pip in December 2013 where we did an engagement shoot at Clifton Suspension Bridge which is where Paul proposed to Pip.
Since then we have since had another great studio photo shoot which ended in us drinking of a few Gin and Tonics I must admit 🙂
So onto the wedding which was held at the medieval church of St John the Baptist in the Abbey grounds in Cirencester – a stunning location and packed to the gunnels for this wedding.
Then onto the reception by Rickshaw, powered by Paul! The reception was held at the equally stunning Cirencester Royal Agricultural University which saw the guests treated to a summer fair with various games, activities and of course a wonderful wedding breakfast which included a six piece close harmony a cappella ensemble from Magdalen College, Oxford which is where Pip and Paul both studied.
Keen cyclists, after all Paul had ridden from Oxford to Cirencester the day before the wedding in the above Rickshaw to raise money for charity, they were delighted as you can see, to be given a tandem from their college friends as a wedding present.
Wishing Paul and Pip a very happy future together – they are a truly lovely couple and it was a real honour to capture their full of fun wedding day.
With love, Paul – the lemon house x
