Egypt Mill Wedding, Nailsworth, Gloucestershire
I had met Em and John at the end of last year, we all got along very nicely so after booking me and getting Christmas out of the way we then had their complimentary pre-wedding photo shoot at my studio in Minchinhampton to prepare for the big day.
The wedding itself was marvellous, lots of close family and friends for the ceremony and beautiful wedding breakfast with lots more friends coming along in the evening for a traditional Ceilidh.
A feathery theme for the day from the feather bouquet, table decorations and even a show from two lovely doves. Emily walked down the isle to music from a very talented harpist.
Egypt Mill proved to be the perfect location for the wedding and for the photographs with lots of different areas from more formal gardens, to the mill, the smokery and the iron works.
It was a real pleasure to photograph Em and John’s beautiful wedding and to meet their lovely family and friends.
Wishing Em and John every happiness for the future as they settle into both their married life and new home together.
Some thoughts from the bride…
You were so calm and collected whilst I was having a flap panicking about various things, it was definitely very nice to have you there but not intruding.
The photos we love the most are the ones where we’re looking natural and relaxed, I also loved that you got so many of our friends and family milling about, there’s one where I think I might have slapped John’s bum and my brother has a fab smirk on his face!
I’ve been showing off the posh USB stick to everyone by the way, they all love it!
