Cotswold wedding of Laura and Arron at Avening and The Bear of Rodborough Hotel.
I was delighted to be asked to capture the Cotswold wedding of Laura and Arron back in October.
The ceremony was held at their local church in Avening who, I just have to say, has one of the sweetest vicars I have ever met. They held their reception at the Bear of Rodborough Hotel.
A first for me when the vicar stated, very nicely, that there were only four points during the ceremony when I could photograph, rather than being upset or trying to sneak in images I was able to enjoy large parts of the ceremony and was fully prepared for the key shots when they came along. It certainly made me think about the value of unplugged weddings – it was so nice listening to the couple being married – I’m sure guests at other weddings would rather that than clicking away on their camera phones.
The girls were super fun to work with on the morning of the wedding, lots of laughs with everyone enjoying the experience of getting ready for Laura’s big day.
As you can see from the photos below Laura looked gorgeous, Arron was a very handsome groom and together they enjoyed a beautiful special wedding day with close family and friends.
I wish them every love and success for a long and happy marriage together
