Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons
I first met Samantha and Dave back in February of 2015 at their lovely home in Moreton-in-Marsh. They outlined their plans for their October wedding at the amazing Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Great Milton, Oxfordshire, a 2 Michelen Star restaurant and luxury manor house hotel created by Raymond Blanc MBE in 1984.
We talked in detail about their ideas for photography at the wedding and also discovered our mutual love for rare and exotic gin – which was also to be a feature at their wedding along with an amazing array of wonderful michelin star food – what lucky guests!
I was delighted when they phoned me to tell me they would like me to capture their wedding day at Belmond Le Manoir, we then set about making plans for the pre-wedding shoot at Le Manoir so we could explore the beautiful gardens and see La Belle Époque where the wedding and reception would be held. On arrival it was obvious this was a very special place, we spent a couple of hours walking through the gardens talking through plans and taking photographs and to cap it all Sam and Dave had their photograph taken with Raymond Blanc just as they were leaving. You can read more about pre-wedding photo shoots that are a complimentary part of my package here.
The wedding day started at the nearby Bat & Ball which was selected based on Dave’s love of all things cricket and then it was over to Belmond Le Manoir for the wedding to begin. I’ll let the photographs speak for themselves but it was an amazing day, full of love, laughter, amazing food and a fair amount of good gin 🙂
I would also like to say a personal thank you to Sam and Dave who very generously provided me with the full Michelin starred wedding breakfast, that was an experience I will not forget anytime soon.
Samantha and Dave have kindly provided some words below to describe their wedding day at Le Manoir. I wish them both a wonderful future together. With love Paul – the lemon house x
Dave and I got married at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, a stunning venue with beautiful grounds and backdrops. The staff make a huge difference here as well, they are very welcoming and attentive and nothing is too much trouble. We had the most special day that we will treasure forever, it was a day full of love, happiness, exquisite food and of course….gin. We created some extremely special memories that we got to share with our family and friends.Huge thanks to Paul for capturing our day so well, we have an incredible album to tell our story, the photo’s were just what we wanted. Paul is fantastic, he has an amazing relaxed style, he blended into the day fantastically, all our guests commented on how discreet he was. Paul was also really helpful both before and after the day, thank you Paul.
